Parents’ Voice:

Open days

There is nothing better than first-hand experience when choosing your child’s school.  It is so important to meet the school leaders, hear about their vision for the school and be able to ask questions about how the school’s provision will ensure your child’s potential is really fulfilled. Visitors are warmly welcomed at Pashley and parents are encouraged to visit with or without their children, to tour the School and to meet the pupils, the staff and the other parents.

There are two ways that parents and their children are able to get to know Pashley.

Open days are aimed at parents and carers looking for a school place for their child to start September 2024, for dates please visit our Admissions page. During an open day prospective parents, carers and pupils can visit the school during a working day. You’ll be able to visit the classrooms, school grounds and meet Pashley animals. The current parents and pupils will show you round and talk to you about their school. It is a great opportunity to get a feel for Pashley Down School, look at the work on displays and ask any questions you may have.

INDIVIDUAL VISITS

If, for any reason, you are not able to make to any of our open events, parents are warmly invited to visit the school on an individual basis. A private visit during the school working day enables parents to look at the school in more depth and  have an individual tour of the school with the Headteacher, Andy Best, the Acting Deputy Headteacher, Mrs Thomas, or another member of the Pashley team if they are unavailable.

If you would like to arrange a private, individual visit, please do not hesitate to contact the school office on 01323 730719.
