Year 2 Titanic Day
February 7, 2024 - 10:12 amWhat an AMAZING day Year 2 have had! We collected our First, Second or Third class tickets and embarked on our journey to New York. We visited the ‘General Room’ and learnt a dance called a reel. Next we learnt more about the lifeboats on board and whether or not Delia McDermott survived…….
We sat on board and sewed, sketched or wrote diary entries. Finally we jumped off the Titanic the huge 5 meters Delia had to jump into lifeboat 13! Thank you so much for all the wonderful costumes and donations today….we hope the children enjoyed it as much as we did!
